- Timothy started his career in journalism as a travel reporter in Northern California, where he reviewed different kinds of food and wine from some of the finest restaurants in that region.
- An entertainment enthusiast, Timothy loves to pair the best grab-and-go snacks with whatever pastime he is enjoying.
- He loves to bake desserts from scratch, and his friends and family always request his signature chocolate cake with handmade chocolate buttercream frosting.
Experience
While attending college at San Francisco State University, Timothy became involved in the NewsWatch program which monitored minorities to ensure they were represented fairly in the media. He then became an on-camera personality for Q-TV in 1995 before moving to San Diego in 2000. He took a lengthy hiatus from writing to become a foster parent and raise his two adopted children. In 2015 Timothy helped start the online horror entertainment site iHorror.com. Since then, it has become one of the top news sites in that genre. He has also become a leading voice in LGBTQ+ news media as the editor-in-chief for San Diego Gay & Lesbian News and Gaycation Magazine. He now resides in Arizona and writes for Phoenix New Times and Edge Media.
Education
Timothy studied journalism at San Francisco State University. He left college to pursue an acting and modeling career. With only a few credits left to complete and raising two children, he took the unconventional route and enrolled in online courses at Bridgepoint Education eventually receiving his bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications.
