Experience

Kristen got her start in food writing in the summer of 2016 as an editorial intern with the college food publication Spoon University. In school, she had the opportunity to study food rhetoric in pop culture through her coursework. After graduation, she landed her first paid food writing gig as a freelance contributor for the Hyperflyer restaurant rewards app blog. Her most recent writing position was as a copywriter for GoAirmart, an e-commerce platform for home-based chefs, bakers, and other food entrepreneurs.

Education

Kristen earned a Bachelor of Arts in writing and rhetoric from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
