Experience
After leaving her profession as a human resources coordinator in early 2025, Julia put her fingers to the keys and took the leap to pursue a career in the writing industry. Shortly after, in March 2025, she was given the opportunity to write "Greater Than a Tourist—Niagara Falls, Canada," an installment in the Greater Than a Tourist anthology series. Within the book, she shares 50 tips and tricks based on her real-life experiences of living in the city. A month later, in April, she also began writing feature articles for WorldAtlas.com, about a variety of topics, including unique animals, interesting historical facts, and one-of-a-kind cities. In 2025, she was invited to write an edition in the "Eat Like a Local" food guide anthology series. In this second book, titled "Eat Like a Local: Hamilton Food Guide," she discusses the top 50 restaurants in the city and the quirks that make them unique. Julia is also a proud member of the Imaginative Fiction Writers Association; she enjoys writing novel manuscripts in the romantasy genre and is actively working towards self-publishing her current polished manuscript.
Education
Julia holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brock University and a certificate in human resources management from Mohawk College.
