10 Best New Costco Breakfast Items Of 2026 (So Far)
What makes for an ideal store-bought breakfast food? It can be fun to explore new recipes or find a hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot on a lazy morning, but when the day-to-day grind is underway, grab-and-go foods are the priority. Either that, or ones that can be quickly microwaved or tossed in the air fryer. Costco understands our priorities, so the store has no end of options for super-quick breakfasts.
One thing we love about shopping at Costco is the constant stream of new food items, so there's always something fabulous to find. Of course, the downside is that as players enter the arena, others must leave. This year has already seen the debut and departure of products such as an enormous quiche Lorraine and the appearing and disappearing fan-favorite Strawberry Cheese Danish, an intermittently available seasonal item.
Even so, many of the new breakfast items introduced this year remain available at Costco (although not every warehouse may carry each item). Some are fresh, some are frozen, and the flavors include both sweet and savory. We even have one breakfast beverage on the list, and it, too, is something that can be prepared in the quickest and easiest way. Well, as long as you have the proper culinary tools, that is. If not, Costco will be happy to sell you kitchen appliances too, since it really is a one-stop shop.
Cheesy croissant rolls
Croissants are, as the name implies, meant to be crescent-shaped, but sometimes bakers do take liberties. Costco has found success selling bread loaves inspired by the pastry, so the new Château Fougères Croissant Rolls really aren't that much of a stretch. These round, biscuit-like rolls retain the flaky layers characteristic of croissants, with the addition of a cheesy filling of brie and Emmental.
One Redditor who spotted these rolls in early October posted, "Excited to try these. Edit: tried and they're delicious." Several Instagrammers provided serving suggestions. "Yum with fig jam," said one, while another added, "I like it with hot honey."

A Chick-fil-A-like breakfast sandwich
The biscuits from Costco's bakery didn't wow customers (and now seem to be out of stock in most stores, at any rate), but another buttermilk biscuit item introduced in 2026 brings a bit more to the table. The Mason Dixie Chicken Biscuit is essentially a money-saving frozen Chick-fil-A breakfast dupe, with one Facebook reel saying that they "might be the closest thing to a Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit you can keep in your freezer!"
Buy a 30.8-ounce eight-count package of Mason Dixie Chicken Biscuits at Costco for $17.92.
A chocolatey continental breakfast
Kirkland Signature Mini Pains Au Chocolat, which dropped at the end of August, made our list of top Costco finds for September. These, too, are croissant-ish, only square-shaped and chocolate-filled. "They're so good. It's pretty amazing how soft and fluffy the dough is too," one Redditor said of the item. Another, who confessed to scarfing half a container in two days, suggested, "5 seconds in the microwave and they are amazing."

Cinnamon-spiced croissants
Cinnamon seems like a fall flavor, perhaps because it plays such a big part in pumpkin pie spice. Nevertheless, Costco, in all its infinite but occasionally unfathomable wisdom, rolled out a tempting cinnamon croissant back in July. Fast-forward to the present, and some Costco bakeries are still carrying the now seasonally appropriate Kirkland Signature Twice Baked Cinnamon Filled Croissants.
According to one Reddit review, "They are crispy, buttery, filled with a cinnamon filling like a cinnamon roll, topped with a cinnamon crumble topping, and dusted with a cinnamon powdered sugar." The satisfied shopper later added, "It's so balanced. 10/10 no notes."

Cinnamon rolls fresh from the freezer
Sunshine Buns Cinnamon Rolls are yet another cinnamony pastry Costco added to the lineup in 2026. These buns are found in the freezer case, so they have the advantage of never going stale like fresh-baked ones might. They come complete with individual cream cheese frosting packs, too, allowing you to warm and frost just one bun at a time. The Takeout named them one of the best new Costco frozen items of 2026 to date.
Purchase a 46-ounce 10-count package of Sunshine Buns Cinnamon Rolls at Costco for $17.01.
Coffee that lets you skip the drive-thru
A cup of coffee from the McDonald's drive-thru may not be such a great way to start the day if the line is long. The price keeps going up, too, and even with a special in-app deal, it'll cost at least a buck a cup. A cheaper way to enjoy a Mickey D's-branded java is to pick up a box of the McCafé Premium Roast K-Cup Pods that Costco has now started carrying, since with this bulk buy you can have your morning pick-me-up for about half that price. As a bonus, you'll get your coffee a lot quicker, too.
Buy a box of 80 McCafé Premium Roast K-Cup Pods at Costco for $44.31.
Fall-flavored yogurt
Yogurt tends to be a reliably nutritious breakfast option, as it provides both calcium and sodium. Costco carries Noosa, a popular brand of Australian-style yogurt that, despite spelling the word "yoghurt," is actually produced in Colorado.
The current Noosa offering is a seasonal one, a trio of fall flavors that differs slightly from the 2025 version. While last year's Noosa Yoghurt Fall Variety Pack contained four tubs each of cinnamon roll, salted caramel, and vanilla bean, this year's replaces the cinnamon roll with apple pie instead.
The Noosa Yoghurt Fall Variety Pack comes with 12 4-ounce cups for $10.20.
Less-messy stuffed bagels
Bagels and cream cheese are a food pairing that ranks right up there with bread and butter. A generous schmear, however, risks oozing out onto your shirt, especially if you're eating on the go. Bagelista Everything Seasoned Stuffed Bagel Minis make for a compact and contained solution, since the bagel completely encloses the cream cheese filling. They may not be available at every Costco, but as of September, they're now available at stores throughout the Midwest. A TikToker who tried them said of the product, "These are 1,000% going into our breakfast and snack rotation."
Purchase a 30-ounce bag of 20 Bagelista Everything Seasoned Stuffed Bagel Minis at Costco for $14.63.
Sneakily nutritious toaster pastries
Another new item spotted at Costco in September is a very sneaky new toaster pastry, although the name on the package, Veggies Made Great Strawberry Fruit Pockets, somewhat reveals the secret. The veggies in this case are butternut squash and cauliflower — the crust hides the squash, and the cauliflower adds bulk to the sugary frosting. "You can't even taste it; it tastes so good," said one fan of the product in an Instagram reel.
Purchase a 35.4-ounce box of 15 Veggies Made Great Strawberry Fruit Pockets at Costco for $15.88.
A vegetarian version of a Hawaiian-style breakfast
By now we've all heard of Spam musubi, a tried-and-true regional food classic from Hawaii, but if you add an egg, it turns the dish into a morning meal. And if you use a plant-based meat product in place of Spam, as is the case with Kokoro Classic Egg Grilled Musubi, then you have something vegetarians can enjoy along with their meat-eating breakfast companions. An Instagram reviewer, while admitting it wasn't quite the same as fresh musubi, felt it was actually quite decent and enjoyed the flavor of the non-meat Spam substitute. "It's very exciting to see at Costco," they said.
Buy a bag of eight 4.2-ounce pieces of Kokoro Classic Egg Grilled Musubi at Costco for $19.06.
