Fall is in full swing at Costco, as seen by the annual return of the giant pumpkin pie (which appeared in August). Not content to rest on its laurels with returning seasonal favorites, the big box store keeps rolling out new grocery items. From the bakery to the deli to the center aisles, there are plenty of new products to catch shoppers' eye as they wend their weary way to their food court favorites at the end of the rainbow.

Some of these items are Costco originals that you won't find anywhere else. Others come from name brands, but (as is the Costco way) are offered in bulk packages at low prices. There are a few fall finds, including one especially over-the-top Halloween item, but summery flavors haven't entirely disappeared just yet. That checks out since September is a month on the cusp, not fully committing itself to any one season. Costco is fully in tune with that vibe, so its new items include a little bit of everything. (We hope there won't be too much peppermint and gingerbread just yet — we're definitely not ready for a headlong rush into winter.)

Kirkland Signature Burrata Salad combines the named cheese with cool grape tomatoes, leafy greens, kalamata olives, and a tangy balsamic dressing. This new Italian-inspired deli find is the perfect side dish or light lunch for a lazy late summer day, although we wouldn't say no even when the weather turns cooler.

The bites are made from the same dough as the rolls but sweetened with a cinnamon sugar swirl.

The small size makes them perfect for portion control since the packaging says one serving is four pieces.
