While the Carolina Crunch had a brief run on the menu in select markets back in 2025, the 2026 release has been a major, nationwide promotion that Marshall Scarborough, the Vice President of Menu and Culinary Innovation at Bojangles, praised heavily in a recent statement, saying, "Our Bo-Rounds are the No. 1 fixin' ordered at breakfast, so creating the Carolina Crunch was a natural fit. It gives our fans even more of what they already love." Customers have definitely grown to appreciate the unique take on the traditional breakfast sandwich. Some people initially worried the sandwich would fall apart, but the Carolina Crunch has a stronger structure than one might think and the Bo-Rounds are seen as a net positive in terms of both taste and texture. As far as availability is concerned, the Carolina Crunch is still on Bojangles' nationwide menu. However, its seasonal nature makes it so you might soon struggle to find it as the year nears its end.

Finally, we've got a delicious take on chicken and waffles made by a fast food chain known for its extraordinary chicken. Chick-fil-A revealed its new Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich in August, exciting fans who had been requesting that the restaurant implement an item that featured waffles for a long time.
