Experience

Sophia has been writing professionally for more than a decade. After a few years in a marketing strategy role, she began freelancing full-time with a focus on writing product reviews and how-to articles. She has also worked for ProPublica, where she helped Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists adapt their reporting for digital platforms. At The Takeout, Sophia puts her passion for writing to work with her love of food — eating it, making it, and watching TV shows about it.

Education

Sophia has a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Adelphi University.
