Emily has written since she learned how to hold a pencil. She has contributed to publications such as Her Campus UConn, Bookstr Media, ParentPresents.com, and The Daily Campus. During her senior year of college, she served as President and Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus UConn. She has either written, edited, or read articles on almost every topic under the sun — from baseball trades to healthcare policies. She has a background in newswriting and creative writing, but enjoys penning opinion and editorial articles best. Her ideal day includes watching competition reality shows, eating a cup of froyo, and sipping on far too many beverages.

Emily graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and communication with a minor in women's, gender, & sexuality studies.
