5 Hands-Down Best Aldi Breakfast Finds Of 2026
You know Aldi is committed to delivering great breakfast options when it has a whole private label line — Breakfast Best — dedicated to the first meal of the day. As such, we rounded up the German grocery store's best breakfast items of 2026, and not all of them are from Breakfast Best. Although the store sells some brand-name items, none of them made this list. Whatever the brand, they all deliver the kind of excess and convenience that should get even the most avowed 'just coffee for me' types eagerly sitting down for a meal.
Beyond the waffles and breakfast meatballs from Breakfast Best, there's award-winning granola from Aldi's own Simply Nature, and yogurt bowls so good they've transcended the need for branding beyond the Aldi name. Of course, there are some big names behind Aldi's private-label products, so who knows which factories the best Aldi breakfast finds of the year came from. The important thing is, they ended up on Aldi's shelves, and hopefully they'll make their way to your kitchen next.
As is often the case with Aldi products, some are sold out at the time of writing but might be making a comeback soon, so keep checking for them. Move fast to secure the breakfast bag!
Breakfast Best Griddle Sandwiches
These Griddle Sandwiches from Breakfast Best are an incredible frozen find. Essentially, they're a McGriddle dupe you can heat at home in less than two minutes, featuring sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and cheese sandwiched between two maple pancakes. They pack an impressive 14 grams of protein each and just 340 calories, making them a surprisingly reasonable breakfast choice on busy days and lazy days alike.
The best part, though? A four-pack of the fast food copycats is usually priced at $5.49. A McGriddle will run you more than this even in a $6 deal, so you're saving time and money when you whack one of these in the microwave instead of waiting in the drive-thru line (or shelling out for DoorDash). Plus, McDonald's usually stops serving breakfast at 11 a.m., while your home can be the 24-hour diner you always dreamed of. These griddle sandwiches come with so many excuses not to leave the house; it's probably best to stock up on a few boxes.
Fruity yogurt bowls
These brand-new, ready-made Aldi breakfasts allow you to enjoy yogurt bowls even more easily. Because while meal prepping for breakfast can be simple, some of us forget when we've run out of fruit. And nuts and seeds and honey. And also yogurt.
Launched in October, there are two bowls available: the Aldi Strawberry Yogurt Bowl with Coconut Flakes & Oats and the Aldi Mango Yogurt Bowl with Strawberries, Dark Chocolate & Almond Flakes. The strawberry one contains 9 grams of protein and 220 calories per bowl, and the mango kind has 6 grams of protein and 200 calories per serving. My only gripe is the toppings: The mango variety sounds like it would go better with the coconut flakes, and including strawberries in both options seems unnecessary.
These are small problems, however. Overall, the yogurt bowls are great for breakfast in a pinch. The portions are generous, and you can easily add a little more fiber, flavor, and variety by chucking in some additional fruit or crispy air-fried granola. The bowls have a bit of room at the top, so you don't even have to get a dish dirty when you DIY.
Aldi Strawberry Yogurt Bowls with Coconut Flakes & Oats and Aldi Mango Yogurt Bowls with Strawberries, Dark Chocolate & Almond Flakes are both $3.29 through Aldi's online store.
Breakfast Best Blueberry Stuffed Waffles
Breakfast Best really lives up to its name — the Aldi brand has released a ton of exciting breakfast items in 2026, including several stuffed waffles. Recently, the flavors leaned fruity, with blueberry and apple cinnamon hitting the shelves in June. Earlier in the year, we saw the launch of richer stuffed maple waffles. One flavor was filled with chicken sausage, egg, and cheese, while the other included bacon, egg, and cheese.
Although the savory flavors were well received, in our minds, the fruit-stuffed waffles are the winners! They just make sense. The waffles themselves are made of a rich brioche dough, and the generous layer of fruit jam inside is sweet, fresh, and moist enough that you don't need syrup unless you really want to double down. That means the waffles are easy to eat on the go, and if you serve them with ice cream, they would double as a pretty impressive dessert. They usually retail for $4.99 for a box of four.
Breakfast Bites French Toast Breakfast Meatballs from Breakfast Best
Aldi is well known for great quick-prep meals and frozen foods that go from freezer to dinner table in minutes, but French toast-flavored breakfast meatballs are a unique addition to that culinary category. It's part of the sweet-and-savory kick the grocery store has been on this year (see those bacon, egg, and cheese maple waffles). They're made of a surprisingly delicious combo of pork and maple-spiked French toast crumbs.
These meatballs, as well as the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Meatballs from Breakfast Bites, are precooked and frozen. This means they're easy to cook, and you can even stick them in the microwave. However, they're best prepared in the air fryer for a little bit of crisp.
The bite-sized meatballs are great just dipped in syrup, but if you want a more complete meal, pair with pancakes or build a breakfast meatball sandwich. Six meatballs provide 11 grams of protein to offset some of that sugar. A 20-ounce bag usually retails for $6.49.
Simply Nature Granola Bites
Aldi's Simply Nature Granola Bites are high fiber, naturally flavored, gluten-free, and more importantly, delicious. Available in both chocolate chip and strawberry, the bites are more of a morning sweet treat than a hearty breakfast, but they're easy to grab in a pinch, so having a few boxes in stock will make sure no one leaves the house hungry. They can also be added to a yogurt bowl or fruit salad for a more complete meal in seconds. As the bites are crunchy and on the larger side for granola, they hold up very well when left in the fridge overnight as part of pre-prepped breakfast parfaits.
Simply Nature Granola Bites won the Best Granola category in the consumer-judged 2026 Product of the Year competition, so, however they're being enjoyed, it's clear they're a big hit. Both flavors are usually priced at under $4 for five individually wrapped snack packs in a box. Clearly, that's a bargain for these 100- to 110-calorie snack packs, and Aldi offers a Twice as Nice Guarantee on all food products, so if you're not 100% satisfied, you get a refund and a replacement.
Simply Nature Chocolate Chip Granola Bites and Simply Nature Strawberry Granola Bites are both $3.45 through Aldi's online store.
