Costco's New Bakery Treat Looks So Good, Even Non-Members Are Tempted: 'I'm Gonna Get A Membership'
Baked goods fans, there's a new treat available at the Costco bakery, which seems to put out new items at a fast clip. Costco enthusiast account @costcohotfinds has spotted Lemon Cream Caramelized Croissants at the warehouse club, which are packaged six to a container for $12.99.
These have a unique form factor in that they come in shallow individual baking cups (a bit like miniature pies). The outside is crisp and caramelized, and they're filled with a lemon cream. "It looks like it came straight from a little pastry shop," they said in the video. "The outside is crisp, buttery, and caramelized, and the middle has this soft, tangy lemon cream that balances it out perfectly."
Instagram commenters were quick to respond, with more than one saying they would get a membership just for this croissant. "Ok Costco...you got me...I'm gonna get a membership," said one. Another commented, "Do I have a membership? No, am I gonna buy one JUST FOR THIS? Maybe."

Many people also noted in the comments of the @costcohotfinds video that they were huge fans of the previous version – Blueberry Cheesecake Caramelized Croissants – so the lemon flavor has them particularly excited. Some folks recommended throwing that Costco bakery find into the air fryer to get it even more crisp, and they're sure to do the same with this citrusy version.
In fact, it seems like many of the Costco baked goods do well in the air fryer, such as the Gen Bake churro-style donuts. Other customers have previously put treats like the Costco mini chocolate chip cookies in the countertop convection device to great success.
One commenter on the lemon cream croissant video remarked, "Ugh I wasn't even supposed to like the blueberry and I would give a toe for that one. I just KNOW the lemon is going to be another level." Another user added something interesting to the conversation, saying, "They should combine the lemon and blueberry." Never say never — Costco has carried a seasonal lemon and blueberry loaf, so it could happen someday.
