For instance, we discovered that Dollar Tree's knockoff of a good old Keebler-style fudge striped cookie is actually worth buying; and at a wildly cheap $1.25 per package, they are nearly worth more than what we paid for them.

Our taster went in not knowing what to expect, but it turns out these Oven Baked Fudge Striped Cookies are genuinely good. We found the cookie had a nice soft texture with a slightly buttery flavor, and the chocolate comes through clearly in the finish. The body of the cookie pleasantly melts away, and the chocolate (which we will fully admit isn't top shelf) hits properly. While you can definitely tell these aren't brand-name cookies, that price really seals the deal for us, especially for a quick treat.

While Dollar Tree has least 15 types of cookies worth checking out, there's one type that'll certainly catch your eye. If you're a fan of Girl Scout Cookies, that is. That's because Dollar Tree carries a copycat of Thin Mints which it calls Oven Baked Fudge Mint Cookies, and they also cost a cool $1.25. Compare that to the current price of Girl Scout Cookies, which is now $6 per box. You can buy nearly five packages of Dollar Tree cookies for the price of one box of Thin Mints.

The other bonus is that these cookies are available all year. You don't have to wait until your neighborhood Girl Scout approaches you during that joyous cookie season.
