These changes are more than surface level, making this mixer a definite upgrade over older models. At Costco, it comes with a 3-in-1 pasta attachment which rolls and cuts with customizable precision, a flat beater, a whisk, and a dough hook.

Okay, this is a great gadget, but it's aimed more at the home chef who has it all more so than the kitchen newbie. That won't keep it off the 2026 favorites list, though. The FoodSaver Preserve Vacuum Sealer allows you to pack fresh or cooked food so tightly that it lasts five times as long as usual, making it particularly useful for anyone who lives alone, big bulk shoppers, or families with fussy eaters and mixed schedules. You can use this tool to prep marinated proteins you plan on cooking later on or (if you have the right bags) to prepare ready-to-cook sous vide meals. 

The Preserve Vacuum Sealer comes with a variety of plastic bags, a 5-cup marinating container, and a hand-held sealer in addition to the main vacuum sealing machine. At this price, it should pay for itself pretty quickly if you're currently throwing away as much food as most people do.
