  • Natalia has visited multiple countries and enjoys indulging in foreign dishes. Her favorites are Peruvian causa and Colombian patacones.
  • She directed, edited, and produced a short documentary titled "Harvesting Hope: How Jim Coleman Turned Loss into Life at Coleman Crest Farm" for her senior capstone project in 2024. The documentary tells the story of the first Black farmer to own a USDA-certified organic farm in the state of Kentucky.
  • Natalia's guilty pleasure is any sweet and salty combo. Her favorite is a turkey and cheese sandwich with jam.

Experience

Natalia has been writing her whole life. During her time in college, she honed her writing skills by joining multiple student media organizations, specifically the Kentucky Kernel and KRNL Lifestyle + Fashion magazine, as a staff reporter. After being nationally recognized for her work by the College Media Association in 2024, Natalia continued to pursue her passion for writing as a freelance writer. Along with her lifelong love of writing, Natalia is also equally (if not more) passionate about all things food. She is enthusiastic in the kitchen and loves to try new food releases and experiment with recipes regularly.

Education

Natalia graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
