Where To Get Free Food On Veterans Day

Find out where veterans and active-duty military can get free and discount food on November 11, 2023.

Veterans Day is this Saturday, November 11, a day meant to honor past and current members of the military for their service. Offering freebies and discounts is just a small way for businesses, including restaurants, to show their gratitude. If you're a member of the military or know someone who is, be sure to pass along these promotions.

Buffalo Wild Wings

On November 11, Buffalo Wild Wings will offer a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for all past and present armed services members with a valid ID. The deal is only available for dine-in orders, but will also be available at Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations for walk-in/order at the counter only.


Circle K

Circle K is offering a free hot or iced coffee to any active duty and veteran military personnel on November 11. The offer must be redeemed through the Circle K app.

Cousins Subs

All veterans and active-duty military who visit any Cousins Subs location on November 11 will be entitled to a free 7.5" sub, no purchase necessary. The offer must be redeemed in-store, with proof of military ID.



As its thanks to retired and active military, Dunkin' will be giving out a free doughnut of each veteran's choice at participating restaurants nationwide.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme will also be giving out a free doughnut of choice and a free small coffee, hot or iced, to veterans on November 11. The offer is limited to one per guest for in-shop and drive-thru only.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop

In honor of Veterans Day, Potbelly is offering all veterans and active-duty military personnel a complimentary fountain drink or cookie with the purchase of an entree this Saturday

MOD Pizza

On Saturday, veterans and active service members can visit MOD Pizza for a buy-one-get-one-free deal on both MOD-size pizzas and salads (whether that's a signature menu item or a customized one). Orders must be placed in-store with proof of military service.


Red Lobster

Red Lobster will be giving out printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips. The meal features six hand-breaded, butterflied, and fried shrimp, served with cocktail sauce, French fries, and coleslaw. The vouchers will be given from 11:00am to 4:00 p.m. local time on Veterans Day. Customers need to show a valid military ID or proof of service for the voucher, and it can be redeemed beginning Monday, November 13 through Sunday, December 10 for dine-in only.



All Sizzler locations, excluding those in Utah, Idaho, and Puerto Rico, will be offering a free lunch to any active duty military or veteran until 4:00 p.m. on November 11. Those eligible for the offer can choose between a free half dozen Crispy Shrimp, the Malibu Chicken, or the six-ounce Tri-Tip Steak entree.


Smoothie King

The smoothie chain will be offering a free smoothie in its red, white, and blue smoothies options. Veterans and those with a valid military ID can get a free 20-ounce smoothie at participating locations. Smoothie choices include Cherry X-Treme (red), Slim-N-Trim Vanilla (white), and Blueberry Heaven (blue).



On November 11, Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-ounce) hot or iced coffee for veterans, military service members, and military spouses at participating U.S. stores.

Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons will be offering a free small hot coffee to all active military members and veterans at all of its U.S. locations.

Twin Peaks

The Twin Peaks restaurant chain will be offering veterans a free lunch on November 11. Veterans get to pick a free menu item such as a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, Caesar salad (with chicken or shrimp), or Chicken Street Tacos.


Don't forget that service members, veterans, and first responders will have to show a military ID or proof of service to take advantage of these deals.
