Ayomari's professional writer/journalist career in the food space is fairly new, yet he's had a lifelong love for all forms of writing, beginning with his own short stories and comic books as a child. The topics he enjoys writing about range from trending food news, to food industry policy, food-related tech/futurism, fashion, and history. Since being given the opportunity to be a contributing writer, he's committed to learning and growing more in the world of journalism. Ayomari has been a professional food writer/journalist for nearly four years, and has been a contributing writer for food and drink publications Foodbeast and Thrillist. He's written extensively about the Black-owned restaurants of Los Angeles' historic Leimert Park area for Thrillist.
