In 2012, Patti owned and operated her own cupcake bakery called Spoonful of Sugar.
She worked as a writer and photographer at one of Manila's most prestigious food blogs, Our Awesome Planet.
She has travelled extensively to Asia, allowing her cultural knowledge to deepen through the lens of people and food.

Experience

Patti is an Australia-based writer with a passion for food and lifestyle writing. Growing up in an Asian household where her mom's love language was food, she carries all her learnings and recipes and hopes to share them with others. Initially, she studied to become a doctor but quickly realized she had a passion for writing. Her career began when she was hired to become a junior editor at a medical publishing company, where she started writing about healthy foods and the science of food. Her journey led her to work with some of Asia's top food and lifestyle blogs like Our Awesome Planet and Discover MNL. She is also a public relations and communications specialist, and she uses her strategic skills to craft stories for food brands and other industries.

Education

Patti has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Santo Tomas.
