Last Call: Let's Watch A Hot Dog Program

Don't ask how I came across this dusty Internet gem today, because I'm not sure myself, but here it is: In 1999, as best I can pin down the date, PBS first aired an hour-long travel/food show focused on hot dogs. (The show also ran periodically as a special thereafter.) It was a hot dog program, and it was titled A Hot Dog Program. It is hosted by Rick Sebak and includes a man straight-faced proclaiming: "I think a hot dog is best enjoyed alone." It's a treasure, and the full episode is on YouTube, embedded above. [Kate Bernot]
