Total self-promotion, here, but the only thing I love almost as much as food is Columbo, the original detective series from the '70s with Peter Falk as the wholly endearing, slightly rumpled detective. So it was with total delight that I recorded an episode for the Just One More Thing podcast about one of Columbo's lesser episodes, honestly: "A Trace Of Murder" from the '90s, starring Falk's real-life wife, Shera Danese. But it's always a blast to chat about Columbo with JOMT's awesome hosts R.J. White and Jon Morris. Fun show/podcast to check out, and as we discuss in our conversation, hopefully the idea of any Columbo reboot has been put to rest, because the original is absolutely perfect. [Gwen Ihnat]
David Bowie on Johnny Carson
Oh Lordy, has this been a long week. I came home, took a deep breath, and listened to Bowie circa Scary Monsters perform on The Tonight Show. [Kevin Pang]
