Last Call: California Politician Indicted For Spending Campaign Funds On Tequila, Fast Food
Like me, you may have missed this gem during this week's news onslaught, so let's catch you up: Tuesday, the Department Of Justice indicted California Representative Duncan Hunter and his wife, Margaret, on charges they illegally used campaign money to pay for personal expenses like dental work, travel, and—hold up—30 tequila shots for a bachelor party. Improper food-related purchases also included more than $5,000 worth of fast food and $11,000 at Costco. [Kate Bernot]
Loretta Lynn on Letterman

Lynn suffered a stroke in 2017, canceled all her touring dates, and the album was put on hold. Now comes word that Wouldn't It Be Great is coming out Sept. 18. In anticipation, here's Lynn on Letterman with her Van Lear Rose producer, Jack White. [Kevin Pang]
