Benevolent God Gives Us Tara Lipinski And Johnny Weir-Hosted Food Network Show

Perhaps this is proof that a benevolent deity exists: after a totally shitty news week, we are blessed with the revelation that perfect duo Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir are set to host a new Food Network wedding-cake show premiering this month. Do you need this as much as I do right now?

The Louisville Courier-Journal reports the two former Olympic figure skaters will host Food Network's "Wedding Cake Championship," debuting at 9 p.m. June 25. The duo won't judge the baked creations—that's left to a panel that includes celebrity wedding planner David Tutera, baker Kimberly Bailey, and Maneet Chauhan of "Chopped." And—I know I've buried the lede here—"Say Yes To The Dress" host Randy Fenoli will also guest star in what is really the reality-show crossover of my dreams.

According to Weir's tweet, if drama and sparkle (and frosting) are up your alley, you'll want to join me in tuning in June 25. Also join me in thanking god/goddess/universal energy for this small blessing.
