Uh-Oh, SpaghettiOs Hurled At Pittsburgh Woman's Car In Bizarre Attack
In today's strange crime blotter, a Pittsburgh woman was attacked by another woman who threw SpaghettiOs at her car. According to Pittsburgh's Action News WTAE, the attacker "is facing several charges after allegedly throwing several cans of SpaghettiOs at a woman's vehicle in Pittsburgh's Terrace Village neighborhood."
The first woman was approaching the Allegheny Union Plaza building on Centre Avenue to meet someone who was going to give her money for her children. Then the second woman "approached her and began throwing cans of SpaghettiOs at her vehicle." She also tried to stab the first woman with a kitchen knife. After the SpaghettiOs attacks, the first woman's car had "a broken back window, multiple dents and was smeared with red sauce and pieces of pasta."
Somehow the driver managed to wrest the SpaghettiOs thrower's purse away from her, so that police were able to easily track her down, and she now faces several charges. Surveying security footage, police saw that there was another person also throwing SpaghettiOs at the car. He has been charged with aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy. There's no mention of previous incidences of assault via SpaghettiOs.
