Ben & Jerry's Debuts 4 New Low-Cal Moo-Phoria Flavors
Ben & Jerry's has made efforts to adapt to the lower-calorie ice cream trend made popular by brands like Halo Top. To that end, B&J just announced four new flavors in its in the Moo-phoria light ice cream line. Cherry Garcia with a Twist, Chocolate Cookie EnlightenMint, Mocha Fudge Brownie, and P.B. Marshmallow Swirl will now be available alongside previous Moo-phoria flavors Caramel Cookie Fix, Chocolate Milk & Cookies, and P.B. Dough.
A press release notes the Moo-phoria line features ice cream that has less fat, calories and sugar than regular ice cream, but without sugar substitutes.
The new flavors will also feature those famed Ben & Jerry's mix-ins, like fudge truffles and chocolate cookies in EnlightenMint, and brownie and marshmallow swirl in Mocha Fudge Brownie. All hover around 150 a serving, which according to the B&J packaging, is four per pint. So while that number certainly sounds low, who has the kind of fortitude to actually stop after only half a cup of Ben& Jerry's?
