Whitney joined Static Media as a freelance writer in 2016, writing for Mashed and The List. She served as Mashed's lead features editor and Static's editorial strategy manager of food before becoming managing editor of Static Media's food division. Whitney has been professionally writing and editing for both online and print since 2001. She started off as a reporter for a weekly print publication in Columbus, Ohio, where she served as writer, photographer, and editor. She has written for various online publications, and was an associate editor at SheKnows.


Whitney has a bachelor's degree in mass communication from The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio.
