Patron Shot By Dancing FBI Agent To Get Free Drinks For Life
Late Friday night/early Saturday morning, an off-duty FBI agent was letting off some steam at Mile High Spirits Distillery in downtown Denver. After his enthusiastic dancing resulted in a back-flip, his gun fell out of the back of his waistband. When he picked it up, the gun went off, firing into the crowd, and hitting a patron in the leg. Fortunately, according to Fox31 News in Denver, "The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with a 'good prognosis.'"

One bright spot for the injured patron, according to a statement released by Mile High Spirits this week: "The whole team at Mile High Spirits is praying for the victim's quick recovery, and he's welcome at Mile High Spirits to enjoy complimentary drinks forever." Huge price to pay, but hey, free drinks!
Mile High Spirits' statements also notes that Friday's incident is the only shooting ever to happen there: "It is shocking that the only shooting to ever occur at our establishment came about as a result of an FBI agent entering our distillery tasting room carrying a loaded firearm without our knowledge, in violation of our rules." Fortunately, Mile High's staff successfully executed the bar's catastrophic event plan, able to get all the other patrons to safety. "We are deeply saddened by the events that occurred and look forward to speaking with representatives of the FBI, so we can come to understand his presence and his need to be armed in our establishment." No word on whether that agent has been suspended, just that he was "taken to Denver police headquarters and later released to an FBI supervisor," according to Fox31. Pretty sure all parties can agree that that stupid stumbling backflip with a loaded gun in your waistband was absolutely not worth it, and hope the victim soon feels well enough to go clubbing again.
