Last Call: Queer Eye, An Astrology App, Revisiting Phil Collins

Queer Eye reboot

I loved the old Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, so I will probably be checking out the new Queer Eye this weekend on Netflix. The new Fab Five (like the old Fab Five) are all straight-up adorable, and as they put it, the first series pushed for tolerance; now they're focused on acceptance. Plus, who doesn't love a great makeover show, in five key areas like design, fashion, grooming, food, and culture? How about a random episode of Queer Eye For The Straight Girl? Just throwing that out there. [Gwen Ihnat]

Co-Star app

A friend who knows of my amateur interest in astrology suggested I download the Co-Star app; so far I've been really digging it. It displays your full star chart as well as updates when planets and stars move in and out of alignment. Sorry, 'droiders, it's just for iOS right currently. [Kate Bernot]

“Against All Odds” by Phil Collins

I've been on something of a Phil Collins jag of late—I don't know why, I've never been a huge fan—but I'm just finding his pop-songwriting sensibilities to be so sharp. The melody to "Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)," in particular, I find heart-wrenching and gorgeous. [Kevin Pang]
