Chef Boyardee, whose real name was Ettore Boiardi, is known for the famous canned food. A common event told of his life is how he oversaw the catering of a President’s wedding.
On the official Chef Boyardee website, it says while the chef was working at the Greenbriar Hotel in West Virginia, he prepared food for President Woodrow Wilson’s second marriage.
The wedding was low-profile and the history of the hotel doesn’t mention catering any Wilson wedding. However, since the event was low-key, it’s possible they never mentioned it.
President Woodrow Wilson's wedding took place over 200 miles away from The Greenbrier Hotel. Boiardi could have traveled the distance, but this can’t be certain.
